We are actively recruiting for a Production Art Technician to join our team full-time. The position is well suited for an artistically minded individual with good technical skills who is eager to learn and grow within the company.

Skills required:

§The candidate should:

oHave strong written and verbal communication.

oBe personally organized.

oComfortable using various tools – sculpting tools, air sprayers, air powered tools, rotary tools, die grinders, drills, saws, as well as other hand tools.

oBe a team player and willing to learn the product and grow.

oMust be a conscientious worker who takes pride in their work, with strong attention to detail.

oKnowledge of production process; taking a rough component through all stages until finish.

oDetail skill; Sanding, painting, pottery, coating, polishing, etc.

oAble to work in a team environment and independently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

§The candidate will have the opportunity for fast growth, additional roles, and responsibilities. However, initial responsibilities include the following:

oReading and understanding drawings of human anatomy

oMonitor, verify, and assist the production processes.

oAssembling parts and components of products

oMaintain a clean and safe work environment

oWorking with the production supervisor to ensure the production requirements are met within the forecasted work schedule.

Qualification / Prior Experience:

§A college or university degree is an asset but not mandatory.

§Previous artistic experience is an asset. The position demands decent artistic skills.

§It would suit a school/college graduate or person that has experience in any workshop environment.

§On-site training will be provided

§Mechanical interest and aptitude (i.e., they like to figure out how things work)

§Creativity skills involving physical media of any type; sculpting, woodworking, fabricating, 3d printing, model making, drywall/trim work, etc.

§Job Type(s):

oSalary-based permanent full-time/part-time.

oJoining date: Immediately.

§Salary:

oStarting at $21.60 CAD per hour

§Supplementary pay type:

oOvertime pays (upon availability)
