Description
SKF Magnetic in Calgary is a division of SKF Canada with a focus on the design and integration of magnetic levitation systems for leading-edge rotating machines used in particle science, semiconductor manufacturing, industrial and medical equipment, and gas compressors. SKF is seeking a Product Data Coordinator who is skilled at technical document control, managing customer returns, and a variety of office administration duties.
Technical Document Control
Responsibilities Include But Not Limited to:
  • Ensure all technical documents follow the correct approval processes.
  • Electronic movement and filing of documents into correct locations dependent upon document status.
  • Ensure that all quality-controlled product documents (engineering drawings, change orders, corrective and preventive actions, certificates of compliance, reports) are managed in accordance with our Quality Management system.
Customer Returns
  • Invoicing customers for repair charges.
  • Follow up with customers on the status of their returns and obtain purchase orders for repairs if required.
  • Issue RMA's to customers upon requests for return of product.
  • Documenting repair/warranty return data for the Quality Management system and monthly KPI reporting.
  • Prepare appropriate paperwork for shipping goods back to customer including bills of lading, customs forms, and commercial invoices.
Office Administration
  • Offsite document storage management.
  • Organizational chart updates.
  • Security pass card assignments.
  • Maintenance of printer/copiers.
  • Being point of contact for other administrative requests.
Requirements
  • Ability to identify discrepancies when reviewing paperwork.
  • Comprehensive communication skills in the English language electronically, verbally, and written.
  • Prior experience in utilizing data analysis to drive performance and business improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business with 5-8 years of past relevant engineering experience preferred but not required.
  • Experienced in data entry, proofreading, making corrections and ensuring the accuracy of data.
  • Experienced with Office 365, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Email, Calendar, and work related computer software applications.
