Primary, Junior , Intermediate Teacher

Meadow Green Academy is a private Christian school located in Mississauga. We are currently interviewing individuals who are looking to make a difference in children's lives in a nurturing setting that aims to guide all students to attain academic success while applying Christian principles in their daily lives. Our small classes ensure more time to help individual students.

Responsibilities

As a classroom teacher the successful candidate will teach language arts, mathematics and religious education to their homeroom class. At MGA we encourage teachers to share their talents, qualifications and strengths through our rotary program (which includes science, social studies, computers, drama etc.). This means teaching one or two subjects to several grades rather than the whole curriculum, based on their areas of strength and interest. Teachers are also expected to become involved in extracurricular activities (e.g.sports, clubs, Christmas Concert, Spring Musical) as these enhance the educational experience for both students and staff.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, have experience working with children and be comfortable teaching in a Christian setting. Candidates with a university degree are encouraged to apply.
