Pipeline Security Guard Jobs

Canada's Leading Provider of Corporate Security, Securiguard, is seeking for full-time Security Professionals on an oil pipeline project for industrial sites in Merritt.

This unique opportunity is for those looking for well-paid work, to those who are open to travel and enjoying remote work lifestyle.

Wages: starting at $252 / per day (12h shift) including accommodation and meals; plus paid travel time to a camp

Hours of work: 12-hour shifts, 14 days on 14 days off

What Would You Do

• Provide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site
• Respond to incident/emergency situations and follow protocol
• Provide perimeter security coverage
• Provide a visual security presence - detecting and deterring unauthorized persons
• Radio check ins, alarm response and security report writing duties
• Patrolling of designated areas in an outdoor environment
• Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required
• Observe and report suspicious activity, and report security breaches
• Adhere to Securiguard's core Values, Vision, Mission statement

What Would You Bring

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
• Must have open availability and be able to work 12-hour shift (morning or night)
• Previous security experience is an asset
• Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract and claims history
• Comfort working in an outdoor wilderness setting in a remote area for extended period of time
• Valid BC Security License
