Company Description

Pivot Airlines is a Canadian charter and regional airline launched in June 2020, headquartered at Toronto's Pearson airport. The airline has played an essential role in maintaining Southern Ontario's economy by providing essential service charters during COVID-19. Pivot Airlines intends to launch scheduled services from Kitchener, Ontario, with domestic and transborder routes expected to commence service in early 2022. Pivot Airlines currently operates the CRJ 200 series aircraft and has announced its intention to remain with the 50 seat or larger variant of that platform for charter and scheduled service.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mississauga, ON for a Pilot. The Pilot will be responsible for conducting pre-flight checks, flying passengers and cargo to scheduled destinations in a safe and efficient manner, monitoring equipment and weather conditions, and maintaining communication with air traffic control. The Pilot will also oversee the operation and management of the aircraft


Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field is an asset
  • Hold a valid Category 1 Medical Certificate
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
  • Experience with CRJ 200 or larger aircraft
  • Hold a valid Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with a valid Group 1 Instrument Rating
  • Minimum 1500 hours total flight time, with 100 hours of multi-engine flight time and 500 hours Pilot in Command time
  • Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations
