Control Risks is hiring a Physical Security Project Manager who will be fully dedicated to our Client for a six-month period to support the continued growth and development of its physical security program.
Control Risks is hiring a Physical Security Project Manager who will be fully dedicated to our Client for a six-month period to support the continued growth and development of its physical security program.
- Drive and accelerate the implementation of an approved security management plan
- Ensure that all governance documents are developed based on a scalable threat model
- Develop physical security governance - including policies, procedures and plans - to manage risks and secure assets associated with a diversity of site typologies (e.g., project construction, camp facilities, corporate office spaces)
- Provide guidance and develop a strategy around the implementation of future security controls, including but not limited to a site-wide access-control system
- Develop physical security and security systems controls that are aligned with global and regional corporate security standards
- Other duties as assigned
- Understand the security management plan and the findings of the Client's comprehensive security risk threat assessment
- Work in close partnership with the Superintendent of Security on all duties and responsibilities
- Upskill and expand the capability of the Client's local security workforce
- Implement the mitigation measures outlined in the security management plan in order to close program gaps and meet global and regional corporate security program requirements
- Strong working knowledge of physical security systems and components
- Five to seven years of experience in the physical security industry
- Experience providing security oversight
- Ability to manage daily tactical operations and participate in the development of strategic program plans
- Ability to quickly adapt to the external environment and organisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and business acumen
- Ability to capably support a change management process in a corporate security context
- Experience in a corporate security environment for a global company
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with global teams
- Experience conducting security awareness training for diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong experience driving programs and projects to resolution
- Availability to work on emergency situations during off hours and, if necessary, for an extended period of time
- Project management knowledge and experience
- One or more professional certifications such as PSP, CCP, CISSP or other comparable certifications preferred
- Keen ability to build rapport and develop cross-functional relationships
- Experience writing and publishing physical security governance documents (e.g., policies, procedures, plans)
- Bachelor's degree in a security-relevant field and/or equivalent experience
