About The Opportunity
Site, Location and Constituent Union will be determined based on the successful candidate once identified.
Reports to: Pharmacy Director responsible for Medication Safety.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Formal medication safety training an asset.
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy .
• 3 years experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and interact with others.
• Knowledge of national/provincial standards and guidelines for medication management and safety.
• Registration with the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Licensure in Nova Scotia as a Pharmacist.
• Lean / Six Sigma training an asset.
• Excellent presentation skills utilizing various forms of media.
• Documented leadership skills.
• Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
• Completion of a Pharmacy Residency Program equivalent experience and /or alternative education may be considered.

Hours

• Permanent / 100% FTE / 75 Hours Bi-weekly

Compensation and Incentives
$43.46 - $52.98 Hourly
Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
