Description

Robert Half is seeking highly skilled and experienced Freelance Package Designers to join our roster. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record in package design for Tier 1 brands, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to transform concepts into visually striking packaging solutions. As a freelance designer, you will collaborate with our client's creative teams remotely, and work closely with clients to create packaging designs that align with their brand identities and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on design trends, techniques, and software advancements in the packaging design field.
• Create 2D and 3D mockups of packaging concepts for client presentations.
• Ensure that packaging designs meet industry standards, regulations, and printing requirements.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to design, edit, and refine packaging artwork.
• Collaborate with our client's project teams to understand project goals, target audience, and brand guidelines.
• Develop creative and impactful packaging designs that effectively communicate the essence of the product and brand.
• Provide accurate estimations for project timelines and adhere to agreed-upon deadlines.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions from clients and internal teams to refine designs.

Requirements

• Knowledge of printing processes, materials, and industry standards related to packaging design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is essential, with a valid license for each software.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members remotely.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, typography, and layout composition.
• Proven experience as a Package Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of packaging projects.
