Responsibilities

• Perform research, analysis, design and implementation of IT projects in order to enhance competitive edge or reduce costs, liaising with project teams to provide estimates and to support system and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Design and code system solutions to satisfy business requirements, to documented standards
• Support integration, system and user acceptance testing and verification
• Investigate and resolve production problems
• Assist with the investigation and testing of changes caused by product change (e.g. new release)
• Provide third and final level production support on a 24-hour basis, as dictated by the needs of the business
• Develop and execute unit tests, verifying results against expectations
• Maintain and enhance existing software, where necessary integrating in-house software solutions with those supplied by 3rd parties
• To provide support and maintain the various systems and ensure maximum availability for the business users. Assist in the preparation of functional and technical specifications including detailed research of report, file and software changes. Write system design and software specifications to documented standards

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of relevant experience
• Understand and apply the Project Life Cycle to position responsibilities
• Ability to research, code, test, document and maintain software

Deep understanding of W3C standards, cross-browser compatibility, usability and WCAG 2.0 AA, AODA accessibility guidelines.
Expert knowledge (4+ years) of the front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) and considerable experience in responsive web design for multi-device (web, table and mobile) development (HTML5, CSS3, XML/XSLT, JSON, AJAX, Bootstrap, Angular and React JS front-end frameworks).
Experience with the modern full-stack technologies: Node.js, React, Redux to build responsive web applications (the SPA, single-page application) with Material-UI.
Experience working in an Agile environment. Experience and understanding of IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM, SDLC, sources control systems (Subversion, Git/GitHub)
Experience with JavaScript-based data visualization libraries: ChartJS, D3, React-vis.
