Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a P1 Paralegal WSIB Expert at Paul Duarte & Associates Notary Public. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and handling WSIB claims at the P1 level, including drafting documents, communicating with clients, and attending hearings and tribunals. They will work closely with lawyers and other paralegals, as well as clients, to ensure that claims are handled in a timely and effective manner.


Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with other areas of law, such as personal injury and workplace safety, is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to draft legal documents and communicate with clients and other stakeholders
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in handling WSIB claims at the P1 level
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Associate's degree or higher in Paralegal Studies or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of WSIB policies and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
