Job Description

About the role:

Day to day routine operation in the specific area of operation, in a flexible manner across multiple parts of the process to ensure uninterrupted production and safe operation of the plant.



General Accountability:


>Shift Operations - Execute operations on a specific production process, with flexibility to work across multiple parts of the process, to ensure uninterrupted production and safe operation of the plant.

>Safety - Follow all safety precautions and procedures to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.

>Trouble Shooting - Identify problems between processes, resolve operating problems and report any abnormalities and problems to the Shift Supervisor.

>Shut Down and Start Up - Take all actions for the safe shutdown and start up in specific areas of the plant in line with standard operating procedures.

>Continuous Improvement - Make suggestions for the improvement of plant operations and /or procedures.

>Maintenance - Ensure required maintenance is performed.

>Housekeeping - Take appropriate action to maintain the workplace clean and tidy at all times in line with company standards.



Operational Responsibility:


>Consistently achieve all delivery targets (e.g., tons, products, services)

>Controlling machines and processes — Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate and adjust machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles) within design and operating parameters (under limited supervision)

>Best solution and solve problems.

>Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

>Control or operate chemical processes or systems of machines, using panel boards, control boards, or semi-automatic equipment.

>Start and shut down plant equipment following due processes and procedures (with supervision)

>Monitor equipment functioning, observe temperature, level, and flow gauges, and perform regular unit checks to ensure that all equipment is operating as it should, safety, and efficient operation, and to pro-actively detect malfunction.

>Control operation of compressors, scrubbers, evaporators, and refrigeration equipment to liquefy, compress,

>Record, review, and compile operations records, test results, and gauge readings such as temperatures, pressures, concentrations, and flows

>Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by supervisory personnel.

>Inspect operating units, such as towers, soap-spray storage tanks, scrubbers, collectors, or driers to ensure that all are functioning and to maintain maximum efficiency.

>Clean, adjust, and maintain equipment, using hand tools.

>Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products at specified intervals to ensure conformance to requirements.

>Operate energy production equipment.

>Operate pumping systems or equipment.

>General housekeeping




QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

>Diploma/High School or equivalent education

>4 Years and more.

>Strong technical skills, ability to spot potential problems.

>English Language skills.
