Online And Social Media Marketing Coordinator

We are a Canadian, female owned start up organization, and we are entering our 4^th year of business. We are looking for someone to help us button down on our online business and launch into new avenues of growth and expansion. The role of Online and Social Media Marketing Coordinator is critical to the organizations plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage product listings on website and 3rd party selling sites.
• Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
• Co-ordinate and work directly with a set of freelancers to produce specific assets
• Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
• Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
• Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
• Learn to navigate and optimize campaigns on Amazon and Etsy
• Email Marketing strategy and execution
• Collaborate with the team to create a social media calendar.
• Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
• Attend events and produce live social media content.
• Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
• Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.

Work Hours & Benefits

This is a part-time permanent opportunity that would be exclusively remotely except for events which are less than 5% of the total work time. Weekly hours are 20 hours a week. There is 5 weeks of paid vacation annually.

Qualifications

• Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
• Interested in learning AI and using AI capabilities in marketing strategies
• Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills.
• Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
• Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
• Excellent social listening skills
• Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
• Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask

Education and Experience Requirements:

• 1-3 years experience with B2C social media marketing or content development
• Direct experience using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprinklr)- good to have but not mandatory
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field. Good to have but not mandatory.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
