Interior Health’s Kamloops Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) Community Services based in Lansdowne Centre, has an immediate relief, part-time (0.50 FTE) opening.
Kamloops MHSU and partner agencies provide a range of mental health and substance use services for all ages striving to ensure that services are welcoming of all peoples, gender identities, cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds. Occupational Therapists provide services to different MHSU programs such as Seniors Mental Health, Counselling, PSR, and Complex Care Housing. As the Occupational Therapist position you will work within MHSU completing in-clinic as well as community visits.
It is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organization and the overall goals of the MHSU services team and provide work direction to the rehabilitation assistants working with the team in regard to transfer of function.
This position is to provide coverage until March 2024, or the return of incumbent. Local travel is required in this role within the surrounding area. Access to personal vehicle will be required. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits plan that includes coverage for basic Medical Services, Dental Services, and Extended Health. Hourly rate of pay will be determined by relative and recent prior work experience.
