CBNCS is currently looking to hire Converting Machine Operators to support our rapidly growing business line in Calgary.

What Will You Do?
As a Converting Machine Operator at CBNCS, you’ll be responsible for setting up and operating a sophisticated, high-speed converting line and producing a 0-defect finished product. More specifically, you will:
- Review job orders and against supplied raw materials;
- Set-up and operate the high-speed converting line with in-line camera system;
- Constantly monitor the machine output to ensure complete integrity of the finished product;
- Adjusting the line to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met;
- Assume responsibility for ensuring quality product is delivered to delight our customers.
What Will Help You Succeed?
Previous experience operating equipment in a manufacturing environment of any kind will serve you well, but if you don’t, keep reading. Growing up, did you love to take things apart and figure out how they worked? Do people come to you when things break and ask you to fix it? This inquisitive mindset and ability for problem solving also makes you a great candidate for this role as Converting Machine Operator at CBNCS…we are really good at training!
Other attributes that will help position you for success in this role are:
Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience working with automated or semi-automated light/heavy manufacturing equipment.
- Experience with automated high-speed paper feeders.
- General computer skills;
- A high level of mechanical aptitude;
Soft Skills:
- Highly process-driven;
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written;
- Higher than average eye for detail and quality;
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Proven problem-solving/troubleshooting skills;
Mandatory Requirements:
- The ability to work a 36 hour; 3-day work week:
- Monday to Wednesday OR Thursday to Saturday. Shift rotates every 4 to 6 weeks.
- 6:00PM to 6:00AM
- The ability to obtain, and maintain, Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance;
