Night Attendant Jobs

Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll Hospital is actively seeking applicants for a Temporary Part Time Night Attendant for approximately up to 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Call in on call staff when directed by Clinical Leader
• Monitor alarms
• Screen patients and direct patients
• Communicate with TDMH Communications department
• Allow patients and visitors into the building

Qualifications

• Diploma in Police Foundations or Protection, Security and Investigation or equivalent deemed acceptable to the Hospital is preferred
• Able to work independently
• OSSD-Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent decision-making, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Licensed as a Security Guard in the Province of Ontario is preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent work ethic and positive attitude that demonstrates AH values
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other team members.
• Previous healthcare security experience is preferred
• Excellent standards of ethical conduct, demonstrating honesty and integrity
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Other Pertinent Conditions

Hours of work are 2300-0700 weekday and weekend coverage, must be available all shifts as required; hours of work/coverage are subject to change.
