Robert Half is recruiting now for an entry level Network Technician to fulfill an exciting contract/temporary role with our Client. As the successful Candidate your will be working to set up, run, maintain, and coordinate the use of mainframe networks, LANs, WANs, hardware, software, and other computer hardware. You will utilize master consoles to control access to the use of computer networks, as well as to monitor the functioning of computer systems and networks, and provide network users with assistance in resolving issues. This role is based in Calgary, AB.

Requirements
MUST HAVES:

• Ability to think outside the box with excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing and competing priorities
• Entry level experience
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with solid skills in verbal and written communication and the ability to speak to various technologies to internal and external stakeholders
• Post-secondary Degree/Diploma, Adult Education preferred or equivalent
• Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
