The Mine Production Systems Developer is accountable for development and maintenance of applications to capture, transform and enrich data for processing and visualization. Reporting to the Mine Technical Services Superintendent, the position relies on strong technical expertise and people skills to ensure all stakeholders have access to the right data and information to help manage and improve business performance and safety.


Main Accountabilities


  • Design and implementation of practical and robust software solutions for data collection and production management systems
  • Find and troubleshoot application and hardware issues
  • Interact with stakeholders to structure data for consumption and reporting
  • Facilitate the production of dashboards and reports
  • Improve data accuracy and availiability
  • Administer current production databases
  • Collect, blend and transform data using ETL tools, database management system tools, and application development using SQL, C#, JS, JQuery and others.


Main Qualifications


  • College Diploma in Computer Technology, Automation, or Programming (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in programming, automation, SQL server, data capture & reporting, software development
