What You Will Be Doing

• Working with pneumatics, hydraulics, and conveyor systems - experience with all three are preferred
• Fabricating and welding when required
• Monitoring, adjusting, maintaining and repairing mill equipment and machinery throughout the facility
• Maintaining a safe work environment and correcting unsafe conditions
• Maximizing mill performance and run time through troubleshooting and repairing mechanical production equipment.
• Following work orders to make necessary repairs and diagnose mechanical issues.

What You Bring To The Table

• The ability to perform proper LOTO and confined space entry procedures that include crawling, bending, lying underneath equipment, crouching
• Proven experience working in and maintaining a safe work environment
• Welding and machining experience preferred
• Ability to properly disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble complex mechanical devices such as saws, gearboxes, hydraulics and motors
• Red Seal Journeyman Classification - Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) required
• Must supply own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment
• Millwright experience required
