The Microsoft Azure PreSales Specialist is responsible for creating, coordinating and executing the Microsoft customer acquisition strategy in our US SMB Unit. This includes growing the Microsoft Azure platform through sales training and enablement, developing, and executing competitive sales tactics while staying current with market and product trends. Successful execution will also require strong management of the local Microsoft partnership.


What you'll do:


  • Support the demand generation strategy and Azure sales activations campaigns.
  • Develop and deliver training for Softchoice sales teams on Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Engage with local Softchoice sales teams as their Azure subject matter expert to sell jointly into customer accounts.
  • Drive growth within Azure consumed revenue.
  • Ongoing personal development through certificates, training, and general curiosity to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Promote professional services and managed services to drive Azure growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities.
  • Facilitate customer events to deliver Softchoice content.
  • Partner with internal and external resources to grow Microsoft Azure in SMB.
  • Provide pre-sales support to sales and customers on Microsoft Azure solutions.
  • Drive growth within new Azure customers.


What you'll bring to the table:


  • 3-5 years of sales experience (with Microsoft products).
  • Experience solving complex customers problems through analysis.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • A deep understanding of Microsoft Azure products and services.
  • Excellent customer-facing presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • The desire to be competitive and refuse to lose!
  • Bilingual English/French preferred.
  • Ability to interact and communicate at the Executive level.
  • The ability and experience in training and mentoring others.
  • Experience developing strategy and tactics to meet business objectives.
