As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Material Handler Forklift to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talented individual with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry.

Position Overview:

This position reports to the Supervisor of the department. Safety above all else must be exhibited while operating a forklift.

We have various vacancies – Day shift (7 am – 3:30 pm) or Afternoon shift (3:30 pm – 12:00 am)

The pay rate is $19.83/h

This is 3 months contract with the potential of becoming permanent

What you will be doing:

• Notify the Supervisor of damages/defects or other serious occurrences related to materials, equipment, and facility.
• Advise of shortage in materials/goods to satisfy Production needs.
• Take part in and supports cycle count activities.
• Perform housekeeping, clean-up, and other 5 S-related activities as required.
• Any other duties as assigned.
• Pick and stage material for Production and store material in the designated warehouse areas.
• Pick and delivers packaging, bins, dunnage, racks, and related products to other departments as required by the relevant department managers.
• Perform all duties according to the OHSA&R and Company Policies.
• Conducts required checks to ensure the accuracy of part identification where required.

What you bring along:

• Experience with Active Dynamics Component Parts is an asset
• Able to follow material handling and inventory procedures
• Written & oral aptitude in English
• Mathematical aptitude
• Conscientious and punctual
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education
• Team player
