Master Or Phd Positions

Our lab is currently seeking graduate students (Master/PhD) for two immediate positions in muscle biology. This project aims to identify potential mechanisms that regulate inflammation and muscle stem cell function with the goal of developing strategies to enhance muscle growth and regeneration. Selected students will be enrolled in the graduate programs of the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Ottawa. Ideal candidates are expected to be familiar with cell culture, and have hands on basic biology techniques (e.g. PCR, Western Blot, ELISA, immunohistochemistry). Experience in working with rodents will be considered as an asset.
