Location: Remote (Work from anywhere in the world)


Position Overview:

As a Video Editor or Blog Writer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our company's content creation efforts by either editing engaging video content or writing informative blog articles. You may choose to work as a video editor, blog writer, or both, based on your skills and interests. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world while gaining Canadian experience.

Duration: Flexible (part-time or full-time)

Responsibilities:

1- Video Editor:

  • Create engaging and impactful video content by incorporating motion graphics, special effects, and transitions.
  • Enhance videos with appropriate music, voice-overs, and sound effects.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
  • Ensure all videos align with our company's brand and style guidelines.
  • Edit raw video footage, ensuring high-quality visuals and sound.

2- Blog Writer:

  • Write clear, concise, and error-free blog posts that align with our company's voice and target audience.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies and editorial calendars.
  • Research industry-related topics to generate ideas for informative and engaging blog articles.
  • Incorporate keywords and SEO best practices to optimize articles for search engines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and share insights through thought-provoking blog articles.

3- Video Editor and Blog Writer:

  • If you choose to work as both a video editor and blog writer, you will fulfill the responsibilities mentioned above for both roles.

Requirements:

1- Video Editor:

  • Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling and video production techniques.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics, special effects, and sound design.

2- Blog Writer:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce well-structured and engaging blog articles.
  • Strong command of the English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and gather information from reliable sources.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize articles for search engines.

3- Video Editor and Blog Writer:

  • Proficiency in video editing software and strong writing skills as mentioned above.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively for both video editing and blog writing.

Additional Requirements:

  1. Availability to commit to a minimum of 10-20 hours per week (flexible scheduling).
  2. Access to a reliable computer/laptop and high-speed internet connection.
  3. Familiarity with Canadian culture and work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  4. Passion for storytelling, creativity, and staying up to date with industry trends.
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the marketing team.
