Manager, Analytics Jobs

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain business relationships with the leadership of our key clients
• Manage, coach and develop a team of 6 - 8 analysts
• Build a thorough understanding of the customer needs and develop a product strategy to satisfy those needs
• Become an expert on our dataset of veterinary clinic data and our tech stack of Snowflake, DBT, Looker and PowerBI

Essential Functions:

• Design and build custom data models suited to the task at hand
• Visualize findings through dashboards for client consumption
• Understand our internal and external client’s business and technical need and guide them to data they need
• Explain the analysis performed to audiences of all technical abilities
• Responsible for all aspects of people management including hiring, performance reviews, goal settings, coaching and development
• Suggest and implement technical and non-technical process improvements on an ongoing basis
• Prioritize work to team members based on capacity and business goals

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience managing a team of analysts
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, statistics or similar
• Experience with Agile, Kanban, Scrum or similar
• Background in operations, finance, marketing, sales, veterinary medicine or other business areas is a plus
• Familiarity with DBT or similar is a plus
• Proficient with Python or R is a plus
• Experience building dashboards with Tableau, PowerBI, Looker or similar
• BA in engineering, economics, math or equivalent qualification
