Job Description

VAC Developmentsis a growing CanadianAerospace and Defense ManufacturingCompany. We are currently seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Read blueprints, diagrams, specifications and schematic drawings to determine requirements and work procedures.
  • Technical Repair and Diagnostics (Mechanical and electrical)
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems
  • Clean filters, tanks, fill oil, and coolants
  • Completing scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC machinery


Education and/or Experience

  • 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair work
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Knowledge of 5 Axis CNC machines - DMG, Matsuura, Mazak
