Maintenance Supervisor Jobs

Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Maintenance Supervisor, to work at a well-established food company in Richmond, BC. In this role, you will be chiefly responsible for the direction and supervision of a team of tradespeople, technicians, maintenance purchasers and stores clerk as well as monitoring and guiding various contractors and the associated projects. In addition, you will be responsible for the safe maintenance and repair of facilities, plant equipment and systems to ensure optimum production quality in the plant. • Maintain operations within the established annual budget and identify areas of improvement and cost savings
• Actively participate in unplanned or urgent work and communicate up-to-date information to all stakeholders regarding downtimes
• Perform root cause analysis for machine breakdowns and provide improvement opportunities
• 3 years of Supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment is required
• Previous SAP experience is required
• Excellent computer skills (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are needed
• Maintain the spare parts inventory
• Lean Manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Participate in general studies pertaining to plant expansions, new product lines, and diversification

• Perform timekeeping and payroll submissions for Millwrights and Electricians
• Pay rate: $59,000-$99,000/year + 8% bonus

• Supervise a team of Millwrights / Electricians/Technicians Maintenance Purchasers and Stores Clerk to carry out day-to-day maintenance activities and provide direction to undertake preventive and predictive maintenance
• Monitor attendance and adherence to working hours and approve overtime for payroll.
• In liaison with production planning, plan and establish work schedule for the following week
• Shifts: Variable|40 hours /week
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other departments to troubleshoot maintenance issues within the plant and provide feedback
• Troubleshoot and research problems within the plant and present solutions to Maintenance Manager
• 3 weeks' vacation pro-rated, and 6 personal days. Duties and Responsibilities:
