The Food and Beverage Cook will provide excellent guest experiences through the careful preparation and cooking of food items while offering friendly, professional interaction with all of our guests. Candidate will consistently be working in a manner that provides a safe and enjoyable experience for the guest, co-workers and self. This position is based at the Banff Gondola, Brazen or Farm & Fire.

Responsibilities include

• Ensures all areas of working environment are clean and free of debris
• Ensures that work environment is safe and free of hazards
• Beautiful. You’ll work in iconic, unforgettable and inspiring locations. You’ll see amazing scenery and wildlife. You’ll participate in team events – and fun!
• To honour our commitment to be “Always Honest” all employees must consent to a criminal record check
• Remote. Our home is filled with trees, lakes and blue-bird skies; rather than buildings, freeways and smog. Connect with friends around a bonfire instead of through WiFi
• Cooking of food in a manner consistent with recipes and health code
• Strong customer service skills
• Independent. You’ll spend your days in and around national parks
• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values and missions of Pursuit
• Preparation of foodstuffs in a manner consistent with recipes and health codes
• Cleaning and maintenance of work areas
• Full time and part time positions available
• Provides guests with exceptional service at all times
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Food Safe an asset
• Follows operational policies and procedures
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events
• Busy. You need to be prepared for a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required
• Excellent organizational skills
• Some previous cooking experience
