Job Description

Licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant

We are a Canadian immigration company and we are looking for an experienced Canadian Immigration Consultant or Caseworker with a minimum three (3) years of experience in Canadian Immigration matters including permanent and temporary-based applications.


Job Responsibilities

  • Providing consultations and critical subject matter expertise on complex case-specific and strategic matters to develop and recommend approaches that mitigate risk and provide timely solutions
  • Conducting in-depth research and remaining up to date on changes in immigration law and practice and drafting client alerts and memos on important developments
  • Leading and/or partnering on technical project/program work with a focus on compliance and/or operational excellence
  • Preparing and/or overseeing the preparation and filing of temporary and permanent residence applications
  • Assessing eligibility for work permit and permanent residence applications


Job Requirements

  • Very strong drafting skills with the ability to create outstanding submission letters
  • LMIA process (application and transition plan)
  • Must have extensive experience in business and investors immigration programs including Work Permit and related TR matters, LMIA applications, Free Trade Agreements, Open work permits, business visitor applications
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • MUST have minimum of 3 years of work experience in Canadian Immigration Law
  • Excellent command of English, with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Time management skills, including the ability to manage a complex portfolio
