Monterra Golf is one of Ontario’s most popular resort courses. Working at both Monterra Golf Course as well as our Attractions Food Kiosk in the Village, the Leaderboard Supervisor will complete a combination of food and beverage roles including beverage cart serving and food kiosk preparation and sales. The Leaderboard Supervisor will have a hands-on approach with front line staff and look to lead by example. This position is responsible for creating a clean and safe working environment.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?


  • Over-all Good Will Ambassador for the Monterra Golf. Other duties as assigned.
  • Set up cash floats for Food & Beverage Attendants on a daily basis.
  • Stock products on a daily basis (pop, water, juice etc.).
  • Cashier responsibilities (cash-outs).
  • Serve/prepare alcoholic beverages, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Complete daily cleaning lists.
  • Inventory Control.
  • Provide support and guidance to Leaderboard staff.
  • Support BMR green efforts; recycling, composting and other waste diversion programs.
  • Set up & BBQ hamburgers, hotdogs and sausages.
  • Too ensure all promotions are carried through and all special events, BBQ patios are used to maximize our profits.
  • Serve food items to guests according to his/her order including sandwiches, salads and pre-baked items.


WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?


  • Must be 18 years of age and have Smart Serve certificate.
  • Smart Serve required.
  • A minimum of 2 years Food and Beverage Supervisory experience.
  • Basic knife handling knowledge is an asset.
  • Competent use with Point of Sale, Internet, MS Office programs
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
