South Abbotsford Church is a vibrant multi-generational, kingdom-focused community seeking a new Lead Pastor.This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing church, which wants to make an impact and make disciples.
Responsibilities:
The Lead Pastor at South Abbotsford Church is a Spirit-filled and prayer-led person who loves Jesus and the Church. As a community that belongs to Jesus, we value disciple-making and leadership development. We envision a transformational leader as one who exhibits creativity to inspire people toward a deeper surrender towards Jesus, submission to scripture, growing in faith together and sharing the good news.
Organizational Culture:
The Lead Pastor, together with the Executive Pastor, oversees: seven pastoral/ministry director positions, five administrative & creative staff, and a regular flow of internships positions.
Key Responsibilities are:
- Lead and develop people towards a disciple-making culture
- Serve as the spiritual/theological leader of the church.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership
