Are you ready to join a dynamic team and take your construction skills to the next level? We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Carpenter to join our growing company. As a Lead Carpenter at Frontier, you will play a vital role in bringing our clients' visions to life by building custom decks, installing railings, constructing sunrooms, pergolas, and more. Frontier was built on a foundation of trust since 2007. From our humble beginnings with just one crew member working out of the trunk of a Honda Civic, to our current 10 employees and seven vehicles, we have prided ourselves on being open, honest, and helpful. - Ensure a clean and organized worksite by promptly cleaning up debris.
- Demonstrate a commitment to completing jobs in a timely manner to contribute to the company's profitability.
- Measure and calculate dimensions of project materials as needed.
- Maintain open and proactive communication with customers to provide project updates and address any concerns.
- Install custom railings made from wood, steel, and aluminum.
- Construct custom decks using brown pressure-treated lumber, western red cedar, and PVC/composite materials.
- Conduct final quality inspections of completed projects, promptly addressing any necessary repairs.
- Efficiently move necessary materials around the jobsite as assigned.
- Utilize hand tools, machines, or power tools to cut materials to measure.
- Take ownership of completing all remaining tasks to secure job completion, including warranty and repair work.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications and material requirements.
- Skillfully cut, smooth, and shape lumber and other materials to meet project specifications.
- Build custom sunrooms, pergolas, and additions from the ground up, showcasing your craftsmanship.
- Physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
- Monday to Friday; 44 hours per week
- Duties will primarily be outdoors and may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as wet/humid conditions, hot/cold temperatures, snow etc.

- Proven experience in construction and carpentry, with a strong understanding of project specifications and material requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet in rapidly changing environments.
- Experience in building custom decks, installing railings, and constructing additions is highly desirable.
- Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- G license
- Ability to accurately measure and calculate dimensions of materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Skilled in using hand tools, machines, and power tools to cut and shape materials.
