Job Description
Tender Retail is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the Tender Retail Team.
Our business area covers point-of-sale payment solutions as well as electronic payments via transaction processing infrastructures. As an industry leader with one of the largest teams in Canada, our experts understand all the technical, operational, and business issues of payment systems and possess a solid mastery of international standards and best practices.
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you’ll use your expertise in all facets related to the quality of our products. This includes developing testing plans, planning and testing software and scripts, logging and communicating results, and working with clients, partners, third-parties, and internal teams to analyze and troubleshoot issues.
What You’ll Do
  • Plan and execute testing of our payment software
  • Log and verify defects
  • Participate in design and requirements definition sessions
  • Identify opportunities for improving QA processes in place and suggest solutions
  • Analyze and communicate test results and advancement
  • Work with partners and third parties on troubleshooting and analyzing issues
  • Develop and enhance test plans and test cases following established norms
  • Create automated test scripts
What We Are Looking For
  • Autonomous
  • Experience using test management tools
  • Understanding of testing APIs
  • Desire for constant improvement
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize
  • Result oriented
  • Understanding of testing black box and white box
  • 3+ years of experience in QA
  • Ability to solve problems, identify and implement solutions
What Would Make You Stand Out
  • Experience in payment processing, gateways, certification and contact and contactless payment systems
  • Experience delivering software solutions on multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Delivery of software solutions to large businesses with many retail customers
