Intermediate Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities Include

Our client, located in Vaughan, ON, is seeking an intermediate Full Stack Developer to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position, reporting to the Lead Developer. Working closely with the IT Team, your primary responsibility will be to develop solutions in support of in-house and/or third-party applications.

• Provide 3rd party application support as needed.
• Develop, debug, and maintain web applications using JavaScript, ASP.Net (Core) and API.
• Develop, debug, and maintain windows applications using C# and .Net Framework.
• Maintain/upgrade existing applications using C#, VB and JavaScript.
• Develop and support REST API integrations.
• Analyze requirements and design suitable software solutions.
• Work on a variety of project-based assignments and respond to development-based helpdesk tickets.

Requirements

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and technical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of software design concepts and the full project development lifecycle.
• Experience with web hosted applications, networking, and system level data interchanging.
• Solid skills on Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Object Oriented Mapping (ORM) and Document Object Model (DOM).
• Solid on-prem hosting skills with Microsoft IIS, Apache and/or Nginx, with SSL configuration, migration, and maintenance (not including Certbot alternative tools).
• Excellent documentation skills with Markdown language and diagrams.
• Solid relational database T-SQL skills (SQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize while managing a variety of concurrent short and long-term assignments.
• 3+ years experience as a Developer within a Microsoft environment using C#, ASP.Net and/or JavaScript.
• Supply Chain and Transportation industry experience is an asset.
• Self disciplined, results oriented, collaborative, with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with cloud-based computing technology such as MS Azure is preferred (using Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Logics are a plus).
