Randstad Staffing is currently looking for a Dispatcher to join a leading transportation company, specializing in providing reliable and efficient transportation solutions to businesses across Canada and the United States. Located in the South East area of Winnipeg on a full-time permanent basis. As a Dispatcher, you will be dealing directly with drivers, arranging the delivery and pick-ups, and maintaining communication with retail customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all dispatches and driver activities
• Schedule and dispatch trucks to meet customer demand and minimize idle time.
• Coordinate the movement of trucks and drivers to ensure on-time delivery of shipments
• Monitor driver performance and provide feedback to improve efficiency and safety.
• Communicate with drivers to provide them with necessary information and resources.
• Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Transportation or Coordination experience
• High attention to detail and Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn in-house computer programs
