Summary:

We are excited to introduce this new role for the training and development team. The successful candidate will collaborate with training and operations teams to implement changes and updates within the organizations intranet tool. In addition, support training development within the LMS system. This role will involve but not limited to the following:


Responsibilities:

  • Creates/assign quizzes for training purposes and reporting results
  • Work directly with SMEs, and business stakeholders as needed for each project.
  • Serve as an innovative change agent for continuous improvement in learning solutions through improved/enhanced methodologies.
  • Design and develop learning solutions supported by Enercare’s Learning Management System.
  • Using proper methodology, determine or verify accurate learning objectives in order to create relevant and scalable learning content and assessments.
  • Schedule and lead knowledge sharing in design and review sessions.
  • Collaborate by submitting all learning solutions to SMEs for purposes of proof-reading for accuracy.
  • Build training videos by working with SMEs to create audio scripts and edit video content to produce final versions of course materials for the LMS.
  • Utilize proven techniques to research, design and develop multimedia learning materials for new and existing programs in a variety of contexts and subjects.
  • Conduct training needs analysis to recommend a learning solution.


Experience:

  • Must have HTML experience.
  • Practical knowledge of applying ADDIE learning principles to course design
  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of course development and curriculum within a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in design and development of instructional material in a corporate setting, leading teams in all phases of the project life cycle and producing creative learning solutions.
  • Experience writing video scripts and video production.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft, Articulate Storyline 3, LMS (Tovuti preferred), and other rapid development tools.
  • Creative, but able to follow documented styles and standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to coordinate and track simultaneous projects.
  • Must have experience building online and facilitated courses for adult learners from the ground up.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, resourceful.


Education/Certification:

  • An Associate of Arts degree from an accredited college or university in Web Development, Computer Information Technology, Management Information Systems or other information technology related field to include course work in web page design, development and programming.
  • Portfolio of sample microlearning, web-based, or instructor-led courses required for all interview(s)
  • Formal certification in Instructional Design or Adult Learning preferred.
