Title: Instructional Designer I (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months (Temp to Hire)

Location: Vancouver British Columbia CAN V6B1A6

Shift: Monday to Friday 40 hours/week

Pay Rate $25.92/hr. (on T4 without any benefits) If Temp to hire, what is the FTE salary range: $75,000

:

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work closely with communications and business readiness teams to understand dependencies and manage required coordination.
  • Partner with Training Team and Subject Matter Experts to coordinate reviews and approvals, content placement (LMS, Delivery Platform, etc.) and trainer development (Jointly conduct the process focused Train the Trainer sessions).
  • Partner with other training team to develop, manage and drive global internal and external end user training delivery plan, schedule, logistics and deployment.
  • Identify risks, issues, develop mitigation plans and communicate / escalate as needed.
  • Work with program team and end users to assess training requirements and/or gaps and identify mitigation strategies.
  • Track and report status of training implementation plans and execution activities.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to analyze, design, and develop training materials (curriculum, outlines, presentations, and job aids)

Experience/Skills:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven meeting facilitation skills, both in person and virtual
  • Proven ability to develop high quality work products in dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and professionalism under pressure.
  • Comfortable with and receptive to feedback and quick to apply changes.
  • Competency in Google Sheets, Slides, Work
  • Competency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • User Productivity Kit (UPK) a plus
  • Background in Learning
  • Ability to work across organizations and understand concepts of touch points and dependencies.
  • Works independently but also collaborative and works effectively in teams.
  • Experience in the successful development and implementation of training strategies and project plans for global Oracle ERP transformation projects
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to self-manage workload and prioritize deadlines.
  • Able to adapt to changes in process, technology, and strategy.
  • Experience with Oracle
