Homemakers in a home care setting do more than provide great care, they change the quality of life for our clients, enabling them to remain independent and safe in their home longer.

As a homemaker you will work directly with seniors and their families to create detailed, personalized care plans that will maximize your client’s quality of life. You will then provide in-home support for daily tasks, personal care and hobbies to ensure the senior’s needs are met while creating opportunities for joy, friendship, and meaningful relationships and memories.

Homemaker Job Responsibilities:

• Closet and cupboard organization
• Light housekeeping
• Tools and supplies provided
• Laundry and Linen service
• Vacuuming, Dusting, Cleaning Bathrooms, Mopping, Sweeping, Cleaning Kitchens
• Grocery shopping, running errands
• Meal preparation

Homemaker Job Requirements:

• Genuinely concerned about helping people
• Access to a mobile phone (data enabled preferred) and internet
• Reliable transportation
• Must have current Vulnerable Sector Police check (within past 6 months) or be willing to obtain one
