Grid Link has a full-time vacancy for an Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Grid Link is a local Utility Contractor, operating in Thunder Bay since the year 2000.
Automotive Mechanic duties include:
Perform general inspections on all different types of motorized equipment
Perform repairs on all different types of motorized equipment as required
Diagnose engine fault codes and repair as required
Diagnose malfunctions of equipment and repair as required
Perform daily/weekly/monthly/yearly service on units as required
Complete proper service documentation to ensure accuracy for record keeping
Perform all repair in-house or in-field as required
Ensure all work order notes are completed accurately and completely
Properly complete and file Annual Inspections and Safety Inspection paperwork
Understand proper process for ordering parts
