General Labour W/ Forklift License

One of our large FinTech clients in Scarborough is in search of a General Labourer w/ Forklift Driving experience to assist in their warehouse. This is an initial 3 month contract to start.
Main Responsibilities Include

• Other tasks/duties as required.
• Serve as a back-up shipper/receiver as required.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Cleaning, taking apart or assembling technology parts and/or materials (Eg. ATMs, POS and other equipment/hardware.
• Operate fork lift, industrial trucks or industrial vacuum cleaners as required.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, inventory and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks or fork lift
• Assist with maintaining a clean work area and work environment at all times, which may include cleaning duties as required including but not limited to snow removal, garbage removal, operating power cleaning equipment and more.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.

Requirements

• Ability to complete repetitive tasks such as lifting, walking, standing
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Very punctual and dependable
• Can work independently, as well as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products, especially MS Outlook
• 1+ years experience as a warehouse worker
