The primary purpose of this position is to work with speed and accuracy, ensuring and adhering to OH&S and Quality Control guidelines. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are dependable and show up for work on time as well as thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with all safety guidelines.
• Follow all written and verbal instructions.
• Work on the production line with consistent speed and accuracy.
• Ensure that production requirements and standards are consistently being met.
• Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
• Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
• Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals.
• Packaging and processing of bone in and bone out products that would meet the company, CFIA and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Working experience in food serving facility, manufacturing industry, warehouse and other production lines will be considered an asset.
• Able to maintain & complete daily task assignments.
• Must be physically fit to work.
• Highly flexible to perform multi tasks related to their work & with the ability to establish & maintain an effective relationship with co-workers.
• Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write in English.

Environment

• Physical Demand:
• Exposure to noise (Running conveyor belts and other machines operated in the plant)
• Exposure to wet & slippery floors, hot & cold temperatures
• Working Condition:
• Ability to carry & lift product containers (approximate weight of 20-25 kgs).
• Walking, lifting, pushing, bending & ability to remain standing for several hours using both hands while working.

$19.72 - $19.72 an hour
