As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you'll play a pivotal role in updating our website, building our carbon offset project database, developing bespoke software, and collaborating with various teams. Your tasks will include:


·Updating the coding for our company website (backend & frontend).

·Building the company database with SQL or similar query language to store carbon offset projects from around the world.

·Assisting in the development of bespoke software to measure Scope-1, Scope-2, and Scope-3 GHG emissions.

·Training new IT employees and providing support to the team.

·Collaborating with other company partners to ensure seamless project integration.

·Integrate payment platforms into the company database for a smooth transaction experience.

·Ideating software solutions and writing effective APIs.

·Testing software for responsiveness and efficiency.

·Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software as needed.

·Implementing security and data protection settings.

·Developing mobile-responsive features and applications.

·Writing technical documentation and collaborating with data scientists and analysts to improve the software.


Requirements and Skills:


·Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or related role (or relevant courses taken in college/certification).

·Familiarity with common stacks and multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).

·Knowledge of multiple languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Node.js).

·Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g., Apache), and UI/UX design.

·Familiarity with GitHub or similar version control platforms.

·Excellent communication and teamwork skills with great attention to detail.

·Strong organizational and analytical mindset.

·Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or relevant field.

·Passionate about environmental issues and dedicated to making a positive impact.

·Adaptable to company needs and can prioritize tasks effectively.

·Ability to work with minimal supervision.
