Job Overview
Your mission is to create technology solutions to help world-class organizations solve their problems. Our solutions touch a wide range of industries such as supply chains, mining operations, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, mass transit, quick service restaurants, healthcare and many more. others.
You will act as the main developer of back-end and front-end applications designed to solve the challenges of our client-partners. You will work within a team made up of a solutions architect, a scrum master and experts in simulation and optimization.
100% remote (WFH) - Monday to Friday - Flexible hours - Competitive salary
Main Duties and Responsibilities
·To be a leader in the architecture and design of front-end and back-end applications.
·Participate in the software development process as part of an agile team.
·Participate in the analysis of the solution with the team.
·Be responsible for defining and implementing strategies to deliver applications that exceed expected quality standards.
·Develop, implement and improve the various functionalities of mobile and web applications.
·Design intuitive interfaces.
·Write and automate unit and functional tests.
·Manage production steps.
·Participate in the monitoring, support and maintenance of various existing applications.
·Participate in the evaluation of corrective actions required to resolve problems encountered during production.
·Contribute to the development of the roadmap in close collaboration with the team.
·Participate in the improvement of our business processes and other internal continuous improvement initiatives.
·Any other technical tasks, depending on your profile, that you could perform in order to contribute to the development effort of your projects. (e.g. simulation modeling, machine learning, IIOT, etc.).

Minimum Requirements
·College education in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
·Minimum experience of 2 years in application or software development.
·Experience and knowledge in:
·Django
·React
·Python
·Other similar object-oriented programmingframeworks
·Ability to communicate effectively and synthesize.
·Excellent management of constraints and priorities.
·Ability to work in a team.
·Mastery of work organization.
·Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
·Interest in working in an ever-changing environment.
·French/English bilingualism written and spoken.
Assets (not mandatory) for the position
·Experience with Agile methodology.
·Experience in simulation (discrete or agent-based event).
·Experience and knowledge in
·Java
·SQL Programming
·Knowledge of Azure or AWS
