Job Description

Role: Full stack frontend developer

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Remote


Notes:- Day in the life: The candidate would be part of an agile scrum team, take part in agile sprint ceremonies like backlog grooming, planning, retrospective. Take part in product discussions, development, testing and release deployment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, test, and deploy your code in a continuous manner.
  • Build highly available, scalable user facing applications and RESTful APIs
  • Learn new external and internal technologies as the need/opportunity arises.
  • Execute as part of a multi-functional Agile team that rapidly delivers iterative value to customers.
  • Design new experiences for eBay sellers and advertisers to promote their products, manage their advertising campaigns, and run their businesses.
  • Develop systems using HTML/CSS, UI Frameworks, Node.JS, Java and Scala
  • Lead by example and share knowledge with the team
  • Contribute to technical conversations and debates and decide upon approaches and tools to utilize.
  • Operate within our internal open-source community where we share a variety of projects and codebases.


Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Node JS, JavaScript, Java, Scala, Oracle / NOSQL DBs
  • Knowledge of core CS concepts such as common data structures and algorithms
  • Full stack experience developing in Scala/Python and working with Hadoop and related tools is a plus.
  • Experience working with frameworks such as Spring MVC or other UI Frameworks such as React.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or related field plus 8+ years’ work experience or MS with 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience building web and RESTful applications.
