Freelance Architectural Technologist (Revit & Autocad)

BIO:

Winter Studio is a Toronto based architectural & interior design studio led by Mat Winter (OAA IAP, BCIN, M.Arch, Hon. B.A.S) and is a registered Design Firm with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Winter Studio specializes in single family and multi-unit housing, cottages, garden suites, laneway houses, and public competitions throughout the world.

Mat has worked in notable architecture offices in Switzerland, China, Denmark, The Netherlands, and Canada, including: Herzog & de Meuron, MAD Architects, and Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects.

Mat received his Master of Architecture (2015) from the University of Waterloo and was awarded the Ron Sims Purchase Prize and nominated for the Canadian Architect Student Award of Excellence. He received his Honours Bachelor of Architectural Studies (2012) degree from the University of Waterloo.

POSTING:

Winter Studio is seeking a freelance (remote) Architectural Technologist to assist in the preparation of permit drawing sets for small and large scale residential projects on an as-needed basis.

Applicants should be proficient in Revit & AutoCAD, demonstrate knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, and be well-versed in preparing drawing sets for building permit submissions. Though not required, experience in SketchUP, Twinmotion, and Photoshop would be beneficial.

The successful applicant will be paid on a per-project and per-task basis, based on an hourly rate of $25 per hour, to be agreed upon at the beginning of each project. Hours per week will vary depending on the project.
