File Maintenance Associate - Ft (Parallel Food Store)

Otter Co-op is hiring a Full-Time File Maintenance Associate at our Parallel Food Store located in Abbotsford, BC.

What you’ll do:

• Maintaining store files, price program, scale pricing, assisting with manager specials
• Complete the data entry for all invoices into the RCBK system in an accurate and timely manner
• Must have reliable transportation for shift variance (public transit may not service all shift times)
• Contribute to the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
• Responsible for ensuring accuracy of store signage with regards to pricing in all departments
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Prepare, maintain, and file related documents and pass to Department Managers after entering
• Support the process for price checking local competitors
• Assist with building, updating, and executing store planograms
• Ensure accurate costing and margins are maintained

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and have a:

• Able to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
• Motivation and ability to work in a busy work environment is required
• Must be very accurate, detail orientated and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication, people, and customer service skills
• Must be available 7 days a week for a variety of shifts including early mornings, afternoon and evening
• Minimum 1-2 years of office experience with solid computer skills preferred
• This position is based out of our Parallel Food Store, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other sites as business needs arise
• Must have basic math skills
• Data Entry knowledge is an asset; training will be provided
• Experience as a grocery clerk or retail experience is an asset
