We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team at the Canola Processing plant in Ste. Agathe, Manitoba. As the Electrician, you will be responsible to provide electrical maintenance services for the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to reduce the production downtime by completing preventive maintenance inspections and planned work orders.
• Work safely and in a professional manner.
• Respond to emergency repairs quickly and efficiently.

Knowledge And Skills

• Able to prioritize and organize multiple work orders.
• Working knowledge of PLC’s and instrumentation would be considered an asset.
• Motivated by troubleshooting and problem solving mechanical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
• Prefer to work in a team environment.

Education And Qualifications

• Previous experience in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing or food processing facility.
• Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certificate.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
