*Job Duties*
✅Perform maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, & repair of low, medium & high voltage equipment in a safe & efficient manner Commissioning, & start-up of low, medium, & high voltage equipment & apparatus associated with an electrical power system
✅Act as liaison with subcontractors & clients, develop customer service relationships Supervise/lead projects to ensure successful project execution according to company & client standards
✅Provide mentorship to junior technologists & support to team members
✅Ensure completion of technical reports & test sheets Conduct work in a manner prescribed by JA Tech’s Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Manual
Job Requirements
✅Punctual Team Player
✅Able to manage multiple priorities
✅Experience drafting is an asset
✅ Experience with testing equipment (Omicron, Doble, etc.) & relay testing with various equipment (SEL, GE, Siemens, ABB, etc.)
✅Experience in substations ✅Ability to understand & perform technically complex calculations Strong knowledge of drawings (wiring, schematic, & layout) ✅Minimum 5 years’ field experience
✅Diploma from recognized Electrical Engineering Technology Program
