Description
Scope: To work in an apprenticeship position at the Division with a certified Electrician.
Skills And Qualifications
Education: OSSD and/or Pre-apprenticeship Certificate, Techniques Certificate is required.
Experience: 1-2 year’s previous apprenticeship experience, 2-5 years’ experience, preferably working in an automotive or a manufacturing environment. Willing to work with heights. Able to read basic electrical schematics. Be familiar with equipment lockout, tag out procedures. Basic PLC control.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Understand and adhere to the guidelines and policies as described in the Company’s Employee Handbook.
  • Repair and maintain all equipment and machines within the building to ensure efficient, safe operation of the equipment with the shortest downtown.
  • Follow the Company’s Safety rules and Plant
  • Complete duties and tasks as assigned by
  • Works under strict supervision and follows all safety precautions and
  • Interact with maintenance personnel to exchange technical information to facilitate in troubleshooting and repair process.
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Complete work orders as required
  • Treat everyone with dignity, trust and respect
  • Comply with the designated IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 responsibilities, Health &Safety (H&S) rules and practices, Hanon Systems EFP Canada Ltd policies, procedures and practices
