Rosenberg Research & Associates Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a role as Economist.

Anyone with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the realm of economics and financial markets, and who thrives in a dynamic environment, would be well-suited for this position.The ideal candidate would have these particular characteristics:

Responsibilities

•Support teammates in economic and financial research projects through data and statistical analysis

•Assess, collect, organize, and manipulate data from internal and external sources

•Prepare and update PowerPoint presentations for in-house publications and external events

•Edit, proofread, and review all publication materials, including daily reports and webcast transcripts

•Perform other operational and processing tasks for the team as required

•Assist the marketing and sales teams on an as-needed basis


Education

•Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or commerce


Qualifications


Analytical and technical skills

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to conduct basic analysis of economic data
  • Experience with Haver Analytics, Bloomberg, eViews, Stata, R an asset


Communication & collaboration skills

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Supportive team player with superior interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent English language skills


Learning & development

  • Self-starter showing a high level of initiative


Organization & time management skills

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under time constraints
