Ecommerce Warehouse Associate (Part-Time)

Giant Tiger Wholesale (GTW) is looking to hire part-time Warehouse Associates for our e-Commerce Fulfillment Center in Ottawa, ON.

We are looking for individuals who are interested in a fast-paced work environment and enjoy working in a friendly team atmosphere.

ECommerce Warehouse Associate - Role Accountabilities

• Pick and verify products based on Pick Tickets
• Place shipping label on packaged product
• Place product in appropriate packaging for shipping
• Enter details of packaged orders into order management application
• Comply with GTW’s policies and procedures as well as OHSA and MSDS Standards
• Receive, sort and store inbound product
• Assess the condition of returned product and determine how to dispose of the product
• Enter inventory counts into Excel file and merchandise management application
• Perform tasks to clean/tidy the warehouse as requested

ECommerce Warehouse Associate - Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
• Experience operating powered material handling equipment (pallet truck, reach truck, counter-balance forklift) is an asset
• Experience using MS Office and other IT applications
• Experience working with AS400 is an asset
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
