Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Painter/Drywaller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and finishing interior surfaces to achieve high-quality, aesthetically pleasing results. This role involves drywall installation and finishing, as well as painting and decorative coatings application. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this position. This is a full time position Monday to Friday 40 hour work week. Walltech Renovations specializes in drywall, painting, stipple removal, and wall paper removal and installation. We take pride in our work and make sure that our team members are happy while working with us





Responsibilities

Drywall Installation

- Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets.

- Apply tape and joint compound (mud) to seams and joints.

- Sand, smooth, and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a level, smooth finish.

- Repair and patch damaged or uneven drywall.

Painting and Coating

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, and priming as needed.

- Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

- Ensure even coverage and smooth finishes while avoiding drips, streaks, or blemishes.

Surface Inspection

- Inspect finished work for imperfections and correct any defects.

- Address any customer concerns or touch-up requests promptly and professionally.



Qualifications

Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, and painting.

- Knowledge of various drywall and painting techniques and materials.

- Proficiency in using drywall tools and equipment.

- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Good communication skills and professionalism when interacting with clients or team members.

- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting and standing for extended periods.

Education


- High school diploma or equivalent.
